2377 Portable Appliance Testing

The Certificate Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment is a qualification based on the IET’s Code of Practice for in-service inspection and testing electrical equipment.

Note: This qualification should not be confused with the Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.

This is aimed at installations of entire buildings rather than portable appliances.

Who is it aimed at?

This qualification is aimed at practising electricians involved in the inspection and testing of electrical equipment (e.g. portable appliances) and/or those involved in managing the process of it.

Qualification Structure
