2330 Level 2 and 3 in Electrotechnical Technology
This qualification comes to an end this year and has been replaced with the 2365.
The 2365 will go towards the 2357 qualification. We now offer both these qualifications. We would recomend all new candidates take this new qualification rather than starting 2330.

| Course Content | This course is suitable for persons not employed in Electrical Contracting or Maintenance, but who wish to enter the industry. On successfully gaining employment in the industry students can progress to NVQ3 |
How is it delivered?
This course is available on a distance learning program. You will be sent modules to work on by post or email. Then you can can work through them at your own pace. Once completed these can then be sent back to your Thompson Training Assessor who will mark them and then send on the next module. If there are any questions or any other queries you can ring your assigned Assessor or the main office.
How will exams take place?
When it comes time to take the various exams and assessments involved in the course. You will be contacted and these will be arranged to happen at a venue that has been agreed upon by both parties. Normally this would be at our normal training venue at Writtle College in Essex. But alternative venues can be arranged depending on your location.

Normally this is a 3 year course. But this can be more or less depending on your own speed and abilities.

Level 3
Level 3 can be attempted without Level 2. This is as long as you can meet the following pre-requistes.
Entry Requirements:
City and Guilds 2330 Level 2 or 2360 Part 1. Credit/Distinction at Level 2 is preferred however condidates will be judged individually on their circumstances.
How will I be Assessed? :
Assessment is through classwork, homework, college based assignments plus practical based tasks, online examinations, written examinations and practical skills tests.
